to Skate Program
The
We offer a complete skating program
through United States Figure Skating Association (USFS)
called the Basic Skills Program. This
program provides a consistent and progressive method of learning the
fundamentals of figure skating. This FUN, challenging, and rewarding
program will enable beginning skaters of all ages and abilities to learn
to skate and begin a lifetime commitment to health and wellness.
The Learn to Skate program runs year round. Each session runs for 8 weeks and consists of a 30 minute lesson and a 30 minute practice session. Skate rental is included along with four free public skating passes. The fee for a new student is $93.00 plus $7.50 USFS membership fee. Click registration to download this form.

USA Hockey Registration
USA Hockey online registration is the
easiest and quickest way to register with USA Hockey.
You may also turn in your registration confirmation page when you pay your deposit (A & Over 35) or have your team captain submit your registration confirmation form along with the team roster (B & C). The confirmation page is required as proof of your USAH membership and required to play in the Carolina Ice Palace Adult Hockey League. We will continue to process registration in the traditional manner at our front desk though the cost of doing so is $48.00. The additional $10.00 is a rink administration fee.

Located inside the Carolina Ice Palace, the Penalty Box is Charleston's only Smoke-Free Lounge. Open nightly serving your favorite appetizers, and a huge selection of Import & Domestic Beers. Step on into the Penalty Box and catch your favorite NHL team on one of our 8 TV's or Large Screen Projection TV. Happy Hour drink specials every Monday - Saturday from 5:00 - 7:30 PM and plenty of weekly specials. Now accepting reservations for your Holiday Party. The Coolest Birthday Parties are offered at the Carolina Ice Palace
The Carolina Ice Palace offers a cool and unique way to celebrate your child's special day at the coolest place in town. We offer fabulous Birthday Party Packages for ages 3 to 18 - each with their own private room. A host or hostess will be assigned to every party ensuring that your child has a memorable experience on his or her special day. In addition to Birthday Parties, we offer "Big Kid" Parties, perfect for offices, church groups, and family get-togethers. The Carolina Ice Palace also offers the ultimate Create Your Own Birthday party package where you choose from an a la carte menu of possibilities which are catered by our on staff Head Chef from Johnson & Wales University. Be sure to book your party at least 7 days prior to the date you want, all dates are subject to availability. Dates and times fill up fast, so call early!
